Refund policy

The Safe Plate Starter Kit is a digital product. No physical item will be shipped.

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. A purchase may qualify for a refund if, within 60 days of payment:

• you did not receive access to the download;
• the file is damaged, corrupted, or cannot be used after reasonable troubleshooting;
• the product is significantly different from its description;
• you were charged more than once by mistake; or
• the payment was not authorized by you.

A change of mind, not using the kit, or not getting a particular result generally does not qualify for a refund, except where consumer law gives you additional rights.

For product problems, email support@sameplateclub.com first. Include the email used at checkout and your receipt or transaction number. Never send a full card number, password, or government ID.

Payments are sold through Link, which handles transaction-level support and makes the final determination on refund requests under its policies. You can also request help through Link Support. Approved refunds return to the original payment method.

Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.

Digital delivery and access

The Safe Plate Starter Kit is an instant digital PDF download. No physical item will be mailed.

After successful payment, you are returned to a secure page where the kit can be downloaded. Link sends the payment receipt separately; the receipt may not contain the file itself. Download and save a copy promptly because permanent hosted access is not guaranteed.

You will need an internet connection, a current browser, and a device or application that can open standard PDF files.

If the download does not appear, confirm checkout showed a successful payment, return to the browser and device used for checkout, and check whether the browser blocked the return page. If the problem continues, email support@sameplateclub.com.

Need the material in a more accessible format? Contact us and describe what would help. We will make a reasonable effort to provide an alternative.

Terms of use and digital product license

Who these terms cover

These terms govern sameplateclub.com and digital content provided under the Same Plate Club name. Checkout uses Stripe Managed Payments. At checkout, the purchase is shown as "Sold through Link," and Link acts as merchant of record for the transaction. Link's checkout terms govern payment, tax, transaction support, and related order matters. Same Plate Club creates, delivers, and supports the digital product.

What you are buying

The Safe Plate Starter Kit is a downloadable meal-planning resource for general informational and personal use. It is not customized professional advice, medical care, nutrition counseling, therapy, or a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

No particular outcome is promised. You are responsible for checking ingredients and labels, considering allergies and dietary restrictions, preparing food safely, and seeking qualified advice when a health concern is involved.

Personal-use license

Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use and print the kit for personal use within your household.

You may not:

• resell, sublicense, or redistribute the kit;
• upload it to a shared drive, public website, social platform, marketplace, or file-sharing service;
• give copies to people outside your household;
• remove ownership notices;
• use the content to create a competing product; or
• claim the content as your own.

Teachers, clinicians, organizations, and other professionals need written permission or a separate license before distributing the material to clients, students, members, or customers.

Ownership, availability, and acceptable use

The site, kit, text, design, and other original material are owned by or licensed to Same Plate Club. Buying the kit does not transfer ownership. You may not misuse the site, bypass download controls, interfere with security, introduce malicious code, scrape the site at scale, or use the site or product unlawfully.

We may correct errors or update the site and future versions of the kit. A purchase does not include future editions unless the product description expressly says otherwise.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the site and digital content are provided as available without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We do not guarantee every suggestion will be suitable for every person or circumstance.

To the extent permitted by law, Same Plate Club is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the site or product. Total liability for a claim involving a purchased product will not exceed the amount paid for that product. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

We may update these terms for future site use or purchases. The version presented when you purchase will govern that purchase, except where a change is legally required or more favorable to you.

Privacy policy

This policy explains how Same Plate Club handles personal information through sameplateclub.com. Stripe and Link handle checkout information under their own privacy terms.

Information we collect

We may receive your email and preferences when you join a waitlist, and your name, email, order details, and message when you contact support. Please do not send sensitive health information.

For purchases, we may receive limited order information needed to deliver and support the product, including name, email, product, transaction identifier, payment status, amount, currency, refund, and date information. Same Plate Club does not receive or store your full card number through its website.

Our website and infrastructure providers may automatically process standard technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, referring page, pages requested, timestamps, and security logs.

How we use and share information

We use information to deliver and support purchases, respond to questions, send requested updates, operate and secure the site, prevent misuse, keep appropriate business records, meet legal obligations, and protect legal rights.

We may share information as reasonably needed with Stripe and Link, hosting and infrastructure providers, email and support providers, professional advisers or authorities, and a successor if the business is reorganized or transferred. Same Plate Club does not sell or rent personal information and does not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising at launch.

Cookies, retention, and your choices

The site and its providers may use cookies or similar technology necessary for operation, security, and checkout. Same Plate Club does not use optional advertising cookies at launch.

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for fulfillment, support, security, accounting, legal compliance, and resolving disputes. Waitlist information is retained until you unsubscribe, ask for deletion, or the list is retired, subject to records we must keep by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of certain information. Email support@sameplateclub.com to make a request. For data controlled by Stripe or Link, use the Stripe Privacy Portal.

Children, security, and changes

The site is intended for adults using resources for themselves or their households. Same Plate Club does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no online service can be guaranteed completely secure.

We may update this policy as practices or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
